Depending on how much lower in the ranks the player was than them affects the amount that they lose. Once the player reaches a certain level CK protection is lost for both their ships at Port planets and also their colony protection. *Colony Attacks Protection System [We have changed the protection system for colony attacks to better protect players.]
*Upgrades Balancing [We have changed the ship upgrades to better balance the underused ones.]
*Ship Values Balancing [We have changed the prices of a lot of the ships to balance them with the progression of players through the game.]
*NPC Distribution And Values [NPCs have been changed around to randomise their placement around the universe. No longer will players have to travel to the outer bands to find harder NPCs.]
*Ship Distribution [Ships are now distributed more evenly around the universe. This means players will be able to find better ships located nearer to the start bands.]

*Private Messages System [Players will now notice that they are able to send private messages to other players by simply clicking their name when they see it. *Syndicate Resource Sharing [Syndicates members are now given another option on the warehouse screen called "share". When you use this function to put resources onto the market they are put up for free however only other members of your syndicate can take them.]

*NPC Characters [Players will notice that there are now random NPC characters spread around the universe. The further out from the start band you go the harder they are to defeat. At the moment these NPCs are for hunting, so don't feel bad about attacking them for sweet moneys! In the future they will be involved in missions and other features.]

*Ships Stats Tweaked [Ship stats have been tweaked a little, most notable is the severe reduction in the repair costs for every ship type.]
*Ranking Page Player List [We have now implemented an "inactive player" feature that ticks up over time, if a player doesn't log in for a week then they are counted as inactive. The account will remain (we will never remove accounts) and if they log back in then everything becomes active again. However inactive players with no credit flow will not be shown in the ranking page.]
*Production Method Changed [The way players produce items at a planet has now been changed. You now produce items in batches and factories no longer require population. We feel this has simplified the process and made it so players can work exact times until they are able to gain certain items/units.]
*Syndicate Cost Lowered [The cost to start a syndicate has been significantly lowered.]

This "Free Tile" must be on any planet other than a port planet or a balanced planet. You may take evasive maneuvers or flee. The page also shows the latest logged in players oribiting a planet to the left of the login box.]*New Ship Upgrades In Markets/Drops[There are now new upgrades that can be bought in the markets as well as drops in battles. The upgrades that are purchasable in markets are in limited quantities and will refresh when a certain amount have been bought. Also there are upgrades that will drop in battles that can't be bought on the markets.]*Random Ship Names[All new ships now come with random names rather than all being called "untitled". This will not effect ships that have already been purchased, only new ships but will effect all ships from the next reset. Please note that you can still update your ship names at any time this just effects their starting names.]*Celestial Knights Now Own All Port Planets[This will not show up until the next reset however the CK now own all port planets and have large cities on each one. This doesn't prevent players from setting up cities on these planets only that there is less space available and should you try and take a planet from the CK it will be difficult .]Changes*Ship Stats Hidden By Default[By default all ship information is now hidden and players will need to use scanners to know any information about their enemy.]*Planet City Images Now Show Tile Building Levels[On the overall map screen of the planet the images showing your owned tiles now represent the amount of buildings you have actually built in each tile so the more buildings you have the fuller the tiles will look.]Bug Fixes*Various Minor Bug Fixes[Various minor bug fixes with the new features have been uploaded.]--------------------21/05/2010 (10:30 GMT)Additions*Custom Search On Market Screen[You can now search for any item at any planet regardless of if that planet is buying/selling that item. Players with a colony on a planet are able to build research buildings that can be used to research over 80 different technologies that vastly change the way the game plays from everything to scan ranges and energy generation with ships to unit attack and defence powers and many more.]*Attacking Tiles With Armies[Players are now able to attack tiles with armies. Tiles can be transfered to the winning player and building may get destoryed during battles. There is currently no limits or restrictions on who can be attacked and how many tiles can be taken so be careful who you attack! Units on both sides can die during battle, armies can currently only attack and not defend a tile. The defenders are made up of a percentage of the defenders standing army.]Changes*Ship Values Updated[To include the new army system ship values have had to change and this has effected price so a few ships have been balanced and the prices have changed a little. Be sure to check your ships before purchasing to make sure they are as you remember them.]*Planet Tile Prices Dynamic[The prices of tiles on planets now vary based on a number of different conditions such as the stats of the tile, the type of planet and the amount of tiles remaining on the planet. *Construction Of Military Units [It is now possible for you to build military units on the military page, you will require the correct resouces and items listed as well as free population.]
*Forming Of Armies [You are also able to take your newly built military units and form them into armies which can then be moved around the map. Eventually these units will be able to be transported on ships and obviously be able to attack other armies and countries however that is for the next update. Also at the moment everyone has 3 army slots, this will depend on other factors in the end but for now it is consistant for all players.]
[The armies section is still largely untested so please go ahead and everyone start building armies and trying to break it as much as you can. If you are unsure about how any of it works, or you think you may have found a bug but are not sure; then either message me in game or post up a thread on the forums about it.]

Adam: March Updates--------------------16/03/2010 (10:00 GMT)Additions*Moving Cargo To And From Ships In The Warehouse[It is now possible for you to move cargo onto and off of your ships by going to the Warehouse screen and dragging the cargo as you would do in the market.]*Renaming Ships[Players are now able to rename ships in the formation screen by first clicking on the ship and then on the "[R]" button to the left of the name. (Try to keep it clean people )]*Individual Player Run Markets[All players now have their own market displayed under the global market if they own land on the planet.
